Welcoming New ISC Team Member Dean Andrews!

Our team at Integrated Solutions Consulting is thrilled to welcome Dean Andrews to our cadre of emergency management and disaster recovery experts! Dean will be serving as a Senior Associate, USVI, Portfolio Manager.

Dean comes to ISC with extensive experience in a wide range of positions. For more than 13 years he served as the Director of Occupational Safety and Health for the Government of the Virgin Islands. He also has extensive experience spanning the public, federal, and private sectors. Given his impressive background, it was a natural fit for him to join the esteemed ISC/VICS team. He has also served as the OSHA Director at the USVI Department of Labor, a Construction Coordinator Consultant, and a Project Support Manager and Program Manager with Alpha Technologies.

Dean began his career in the U.S. Air Force. As Superintendent of Wing Exercise Logistics position until he retired in 2006, he was responsible for evaluating and developing emergency management plans for exercises. Alongside two other team members, Dean was selected by the Wing Commander to design a database that connected legacy information systems with sustainable dashboard features. This database was integrated into the Department of Defense Pentagon Joint Information Operations (J-39) and played a crucial role in the US response to 9/11 and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

While working as a Logistician for the largest C-130 Airlift Squadron in the US Air Force from 1996 to 2000, he ensured the readiness of 370 personnel and managing equipment worth $11.5 million. He prepared the squadron for operational, humanitarian aid, and President of the United States (POTUS) support missions.

From 1993 to 1996, Dean served as the Head of War Reserve Material at Vandenberg AFB; he managed the WRM budget, prepositioned assets, and chaired planning meetings. He served as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist in the Air Force between 1986 and 1993. He worked on four aircraft types across three other bases. He spent four years stationed in the United Kingdom and was deployed to Saudi Arabia for six months during the Desert Shield/Desert Storm operation.

The Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters is just one of the numerous credentials, honors, and medals Dean has received. Joshua and Jacob, two incredible sons, make him a proud parent. Dean, a highly accomplished native son of the soil. He resides in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and has an impressive track record as a celebrated chef, driven by his unwavering passion for the culinary arts. He finds immense fulfillment in sharing his knowledge and expertise with the local community. Additionally, Dean holds the distinguished title of Rotarian and has previously served as the President of the Rotary Club of St. Croix.; which is the second oldest Rotary Club in the Caribbean.
