The ISC Team provides instructor support services for clients across the country, including on-site disaster operation training sessions to federal employees; state emergency management representatives; and contracting staff. FEMA Headquarters and the National Instructor Coordinator routinely recognize ISC Team members as premier instructors that provide proficiency and knowledge of disaster operations. Specifically, some of our high level training experience includes the development and delivery of higher education courses for both current and future practitioners, and our participation in the National Training Program to assist FEMA in delivering consistent course content and the development of exceptional courses.

Why Does Training Matter To You?

Developing comprehensive training programs is an important, practical, efficient, and cost-effective way to prepare for emergency operations. ISC recognizes that an effective training program should be structured to provide superior training and instruction, identify areas of proficiency, and identify needs for improvement. Most importantly, however, these training programs must be sustained in order to ensure a steady state of readiness.

Our Approach/Method

ISC has proven expertise in training and education. We recognize that the successful design of an effective emergency management training program is dependent upon the development and delivery of skill level courses that: 1) are operationally significant; 2) are consistent with the client’s planning doctrine; 3) incorporate an all-hazards approach; 4) address every phase of emergency management; and 5) are compliant with federal and state regulations.
