The ISC Mitigation Planning Team (MPT) and Cook County worked closely together to complete the Cook County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP), including a complete State and Federal review and approval. Cook County, population 5.2 million and 121 municipalities, required intense project management execution: five steering committee meetings, four jurisdictional partner webinars, and mitigation training video, and the implementation of a Mitigation Planning Knowledge Management System (KMS), integrating one county, three regional, and 121 municipal mitigation planning programs. ISC MPT and DEMRS will continue collaboration throughout the five year mitigation planning process, producing annual reports and mitigation plan updates.
Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) developed and facilitated a Cyber Terrorism Tabletop for Miami-Dade that tested various vital aspects of their Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR) system. This tabletop exercise included realistic video simulations of Anonymous attacks to various systems throughout the county.
Integrated Solutions Consulting was selected to analyze Napa County's current plans to identify programmatic, operational and compliance gaps in response capabilities and update current Emergency Operations Plans to address national best practices and compliance with the California State Emergency Management System. ISC is also developing and facilitating a functional exercise to test the capability of the county to carry out these plans.
The Mid-America Regional Council provides oversight for Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Grant Agreements and is involved in multi-agency and multi‐jurisdictional preparedness goals and initiatives throughout the Kansas City Region. With the increasing requirement for federal grant accountability and public health and hospital preparedness program integration, ISC will be providing the region with updated Public Health Emergency Response Plans built upon its innovative Odysseus platform, as well as computer based trainings to educate its practitioners.
ISC was awarded a multi-year contract with San Antonio OEM to provide emergency management services. ISC will play a key role in enhancing the City of San Antonio’s overall preparedness and ability to respond and recover from a variety of incidents and assist in strategically managing preparedness, response, recovery, and pre-and post-disaster mitigation services during the term of this contract.
ISC selected to develop and implement Illinois Region VIII Health Care Coalitions High Consequence Disease Plan (HCID) Annex
ISC assisted the Region VIII Health Care Coalition in the development of the Region Medical Disaster Plan. This year ISC is working with the coalition membership to develop and implement the High Consequence Infectious Disease annex to this plan.
These plans and annexes assist Region VIII to ensure the viability of healthcare services during emergencies. The Region VIII HCCPR has four primary jurisdictional partners: State of Illinois, Cook County, DuPage County, and Will County, Illinois. Additionally, the coalition has four Emergency Medical Services Resource Hospitals, twenty Hospitals, and and five Local Health Departments serving a population in excess of 2 million residents.
Integrated Solutions Consulting was awarded a multi-year contract with a multi-year contract with the Miami-Dade region to provide professional emergency management planning, training, and exercise support services. ISC is proud to offer its professional consulting services to the seventh most populous county in the United States that encompasses almost 5,000 square miles and serves a population over 2.5 million.
ISC was selected by the City of Phoenix, Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, to evaluate the Phoenix Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), analyze the region’s capabilities, and develop a strategic plan to build capabilities where necessary and tactics to assist with the efficient direct and use UASI resources.
