ISC was selected by the City of St. Cloud, FL to provide disaster recovery and planning support services. When disaster strikes, Sarasota will call upon ISC to provide program support on FEMA’s Public Assistance, Individual Assistance, Debris Management, and other recovery programs. During blue skies, ISC will provide planning and exercise support.
With the increasing requirement for federal grant accountability and public health and hospital preparedness program integration, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) has tasked ISC with providing the Department with a solution for strategic planning and a system to reach a higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in the development and maintenance of an overarching preparedness program. In 2019, the Chicago-Naperville-Elgin IL-IN-WI Metropolitan Statistical Area was assigned the designation of Threat Level 1 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and remains a high-profile potential target for terrorist organizations. Additionally, the City of Chicago has the potential to be impacted by other natural, technological, and human-caused hazards that have been identified in previous Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRAs).
In conjunction with the City of Chicago HIRA Advisory Committee: develop, coordinate , facilitate the City of Chicago Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment including:
• Identification of Risks and development of profiles and impact
• Research of best practice to execute consequence analysis
• Development and integration of a scenario for assess
• Develop and coordinate community surveys
• Identify and inventory community assets
• Conduct and document Risk Analysis
• Develop and coordinate a workshop regarding the City HIRA
Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) was chosen to develop a Hazard and Vulnerability Analysis for the Chicago Department of Public Health. The project includes numerous facilitated planning discussions with State, Region, County, Municipal, Hospital, and EMS stakeholders. The analysis has clarified the most prominent threats and vulnerabilities, serving as a tool for the Regional Hospitals to standardize the training and resources necessary to enhance response during a complex and challenging event such as a terrorist attack.
ISC was selected to support deliberate and adaptive planning and technical assistance for Los Angeles UASI's Complex Coordinated Terrorist Attack Program. ISC will be planning and conducting a capstone CCTA Exercise to simulate the activities associated with the response and coordination of the initial response.
The ISC team knows that emergency preparedness must come on all levels; national, state, local, and individual. ISC was chosen to continue delivering the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to the residents of Miami-Dade, Florida. ISC was awarded a year contract with Palm Beach County to provide emergency management services. ISC will play a key role in enhancing the County's overall preparedness and ability to respond and recover from a variety of incidents and assist in strategically managing preparedness, response, recovery, and pre-and post-disaster mitigation services during the term of this contract.
ISC was awarded a contract with Portage County, Wisconsin Emergency Management Agency to provide technical services in the update and enhancement of the county's Hazard Mitigation Plan. Portage County has decided to utilize ISC's Odysseus system to assist in the update and maintenance of the plan.
ISC was engaged by the City of Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) to work in collaboration with the Planning Team to coordinate the Community Training and Education Summit. The summit's focus is to increase the regional capacity of the Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP), to prepare, respond, recover and mitigate emergencies/disasters that impact the “whole community”. The RCPGP includes Chicago and the surrounding Illinois counties as well as NE Indiana and SW Wisconsin.
