The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) contracted with ISC for technological solutions for Statewide coordination and planning challenges. Through this project, ISC provided IDPH with Odysseus, a web-based planning platform that has the capability to standardize, integrate, and share planning across jurisdictions for state and local use. ISC provided IDPH, with an Odysseus instance for all 97 Local Health Departments and 11 hospital regions throughout Illinois. ISC worked with IDPH to provide advanced customization and facilitation and increased plan quality and compliance. The result was an overall increase preparedness for all system users. In addition to providing the system, ISC conducted 20 regional training to acclimate local health department and hospital personnel to the use and functionality of the web-based system.
ISC was awarded a multi-year contract with San Diego OES to provide emergency management services. ISC will play a key role in enhancing the City of San Diego’s overall preparedness and ability to respond and recover from a variety of incidents and assist in strategically managing preparedness, response, recovery, and pre-and post-disaster mitigation services during the term of this contract.
The ISC team knows that emergency preparedness must come on all levels; national, state, local, and individual. Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) was chosen to develop a Threat Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for the Kansas CIty Region. The project includes numerous facilitated planning discussions with State, Region, County, Municipal, and Public Safety stakeholders. The analysis has clarified the most prominent threats and vulnerabilities, serving as a tool for the regional public safety agencies to standardize the training and resources necessary to enhance response during a complex and challenging event such as a terrorist attack.
ISC was selected to develop and facilitate an Impact Assessment Functional Exercise for Miami-Dade County that tested various vital aspects of their Damage Assessment and Terrorism Response Planning. This functional exercise will incorporate a number of regional partners, in order to ensure cohesiveness and common understanding following a terrorist attack.
ISC will work with the (MCM) Cook County Department of Public Health by completing a review of each capability and associated operations. The project focus shall include preparation for the Medical Countermeasure Operational Readiness Review (MCM ORR) and interaction with both internal and external stakeholders identified for mission specific operations. These missions include: Development of a compliant metric crosswalk; Review of review documentation; Identification and prioritization of gaps; Assistance with plan review and maintenance; and Participation during the review.
ISC was awarded a contract with Campbell County, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency to provide technical services in the update and enhancement of the county's Hazard Mitigation Plan. Campbell County has decided to utilize ISC's Odysseus system to assist in the update and maintenance of the plan.
ISC was selected by the City of St. Cloud, FL to provide disaster recovery and planning support services. When disaster strikes, Sarasota will call upon ISC to provide program support on FEMA’s Public Assistance, Individual Assistance, Debris Management, and other recovery programs. During blue skies, ISC will provide planning and exercise support.
With the increasing requirement for federal grant accountability and public health and hospital preparedness program integration, the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) has tasked ISC with providing the Department with a solution for strategic planning and a system to reach a higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in the development and maintenance of an overarching preparedness program.
