ISC Addresses Rotary International And Its Role in Disasters

A key ISC member recently addressed Rotary Clubs in both Japan and the U.S. regarding the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. In Japan, while assisting family members affected by the tragic incident, he also visited with various Rotary clubs in Ishinomaki and Sendai in an effort to identify unique ways to assist these impacted communities. Upon returning to the U.S., he addressed local clubs about his first-hand experience and, more importantly, Rotary’s potential in supporting community disaster recovery.
