Integrated Solutions Consulting was awarded a multi-year contract with a multi-year contract with a major UASI region to provide professional emergency management planning, training, and exercise support services. ISC is proud to offer its professional consulting services to the fourth most populous county in the United States that encompasses over 9,000 square miles and serves a population over 4 million.
ISC was selected to support deliberate and adaptive planning and technical assistance for a variety of emergency management programs and initiatives in support of the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS/FEMA), Response Directorate. Under the Response Directorate, the Planning and Exercise Division directly supports Headquarters, Regional, and Interagency planning and exercise initiatives that enable the Agency to provide a successful Federal operational response and recovery capabilities for disasters and catastrophes that vary in size, scale, and effect.
ISC was recommended for award the re-compete contract for All Hazards Preparedness, Planning, Consulting and Recovery Services by the Houston-Galveston Area Council. H-GAC is the regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. In addition, they administer the HGACBuy program. HGACBuy strives to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services, and providing the customer service necessary to help its members achieve their procurement goals.
ISC was awarded a multi-year professional services contract with Chicago Office of Emergency Management & Communications. Chicago OEMC determined that ISC demonstrated strong expertise and experience for all service categories provided under this contract to include: emergency planning, emergency response and preparedness training, and exercises.
The Bureau of Health Emergency Management provides oversight for Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Grant Agreements and is involved in multiagency and multi‐jurisdictional preparedness goals and initiatives throughout New Mexico. With the increasing requirement for federal grant accountability and public health and hospital preparedness program integration, ISC will be providing the State with a solution for strategic planning and a system to reach a higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in the development and maintenance of an overarching preparedness program.
ISC, through its teaming partner, was selected by FEMA’s Office of Federal Disaster Coordination (OFDC) to provide professional consulting services to include analytical and technical support to improve the recovery of the impacted states through coordination with the FDRCs and RSF field representatives. The FDRC leads the Federal Government’s effort to develop a Recovery Support Strategy (RSS) that supports the recovery needs of impacted communities, State and Tribes. This is accomplished by facilitating high-level coordination of RSF Agencies tasked with conducting disaster impact analysis for their respective areas of responsibility.
Integrated Solutions Consulting’s was selected to provide Emergency Planning, Community Preparedness, and Recovery Consulting Services to the Bay Area UASI Region. The Bay Area UASI is a regional program that provides financial assistance to improve the Bay Area’s capacity to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from terrorist incidents or related catastrophic events. The Bay Area UASI is the fifth largest UASI in the Nation and is inclusive of over 100 incorporated cities and a combined total population exceeding 8.2 million people.
Recognizing the necessity of engaging its community on important preparedness topics, ISC produced a 17 minute educational video for Miami-Dade’s Office of Emergency Management on how residents can best prepare for disaster. ISC worked closely with county staff and celebrities to produce a video that promotes community preparedness everyday. Watch the Miami-Dade Preparedness Video
ISC dispatched a team to Lake Buena Vista, Florida in May to attend and participate at the 10th Annual Joint Commission Emergency Preparedness Conference. This conference was attended by a variety of professionals from hospitals and healthcare organizations, all of whom have a responsibility for emergency preparedness and response.
