ISC was selected by the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency to provide technical consulting services for the update of the county's hazard mitigation plan. The county will be utilizing ISC's Odysseus system to enhance the current plan and assist with future updates. Franklin will also be utilizing ISC's UAV drone services to to analyze hazard risks and assess hazard mitigation alternatives.

ISC is proud to announce that it is the first in the Nation to hold UAV commercial pilot license for emergency and non-emergency use under FAA Part 107. Our FAA-certified UAV pilots are experienced operators and public safety professionals, providing our clients with a unique perspective on current and future challenges. Our services and expertise include additional efforts to conduct UAV aerial flyovers, aerial imagery analysis and mapping of disaster impact areas and critical infrastructure assets.
Over the past year, the ISC team has been working with the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) to update their Hazard Mitigation Plan, and is pleased to announce that the plan has been approved by FEMA on its initial submission. The STOF Mitigation Plan is the first state-level tribal plan under the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act of 2013. We are proud of STOF's commitment to mitigation planning, our continued relationship with STOF, and the opportunity to contribute to another national best practice.

As the Ebola epicenter in the United States, the Dallas and North Central Texas region understand the critical importance of planning for infectious disease. The ISC team was chosen to work with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Health Service Regions (HSR) 2/3 to develop a Regional Infectious Disease Response Coordination Plan and a corresponding tabletop exercise to validate and improve the plan. ISC is proud to collaborate with this experienced team and is excited to begin work on this timely and important project.
Unfortunately, there has been a growing trend of active shooter incidents across the country. This trend has generated a growing need for emergency personnel, officials, students, and employees to know what to do when crisis occurs. ISC is using its ODYSSEUS’ TEAM and IES technologies to deliver computer-based training and computer simulated scenario to test, train, and exercise active shooter tactical operations and decision-making processes.
Waukesha, Wisconsin developed their hazard mitigation plan in 2010. Five years later, ISC is working with county emergency managers to not only update the hazard mitigation plan in accordance with state and federal standards, but to enhance its mitigation program and ease of future updates with ISC’s ODYSSEUS technologies.
