ISC has been engaged by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) to perform general consulting services. As part of this multi-year project, ISC was tasked with the review of all after-action reports on file for a six year period. This data was reviewed and analyzed for common issues.
The result was a comprehensive report, which included an executive summary and a list of more than 1200 observations and more than 200 IP recommendations. Common themes were identified and highlighted for CDPH Leadership; these included: Coordination with External Partners, Long-Term Care Facilities/Hospitals, Guidance, Training, Staffing, Operational Periods/Command, and Technology.
ISC was selected to develop an Expense Documentation and Cost Recovery Procedure as an enhancement to the Miami-Dade Recovery Plan. The goal is to create a user-friendly procedure that identifies the roles and responsibilities of the agencies to prepare for, document correctly, apply for, and receive available expense reimbursement, to include FEMA Public Assistance, after a disaster.
Broward College has selected to use ISC’s ODYSSEUS | IES for an Active Shooter Tabletop Exercise. ISC’s interactive exercise module utilizes cutting-edge technologies and adult-learning techniques that enhances the tabletop experience with lifelike simulations that truly test decision-making and capabilities metrics.
