ISC Provides Support and Expertise to State Health Departments During the CDC Technical Assistance Review
ISC was contracted by a State Health Department to provide consulting services for the 2009 Technical Assistance Review (TAR). Through the use of Odysseus, ISC collaborated with their client to identify and close gaps in planning, incorporate partner agencies in the planning process, and provide a web-based and easy to use format in which auditors could conduct their review. Odysseus and the ISC methodology received accolades by clients and CDC Reviewers alike for its ease of use, ability to provide version control, and be a single point of access for all SNS planning. This effort ultimately led to a score of 99% which was the highest score ever received by that department.
ISC Assists the Second Largest Health Department in the Nation in Receiving a 99% on Their CDC Technical Assistance Review
ISC collaborated with staff from the second largest health department in the nation to design a strategy to prepare for the 2009 CDC Technical Assistance Review (TAR). ISC and their client worked collaboratively to design a strategy to identify and address gaps in SNS planning. Through the use of Odysseus, ISC and their client were able to successful highlight compliance with the TAR while providing a streamlined and easy to use platform to incorporate federal partners into their planning efforts. This effort ultimately led to a score of 99% which was the highest score ever received by that department.
