ISC was recommended for award the re-compete contract for All Hazards Preparedness, Planning, Consulting and Recovery Services by the Houston-Galveston Area Council. H-GAC is the regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. In addition, they administer the HGACBuy program. HGACBuy strives to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services, and providing the customer service necessary to help its members achieve their procurement goals.
ISC was awarded a multi-year professional services contract with Chicago Office of Emergency Management & Communications. Chicago OEMC determined that ISC demonstrated strong expertise and experience for all service categories provided under this contract to include: emergency planning, emergency response and preparedness training, and exercises.
Over the past year, the ISC team has been working with the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) to update their Hazard Mitigation Plan, and is pleased to announce that the plan has been approved by FEMA on its initial submission. The STOF Mitigation Plan is the first state-level tribal plan under the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act of 2013. We are proud of STOF's commitment to mitigation planning, our continued relationship with STOF, and the opportunity to contribute to another national best practice.
