G-251: WORKSHOP IN EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AMATEUR RADIO RESOURCES
Course Description
This 3 to 4-hour workshop is designed for state and local elected officials, emergency managers, and other public officials, amateur radio operators. It educates state and local emergency management officials about amateur radio resources that provide emergency communications. More specifically, the workshop provides information and guidance on Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), encourages state and local emergency management agencies to use RACES, and shows how these agencies can have an effective, integrated, and properly managed RACES organization.
