SENIOR EXECUTIVE OF TECHNOLOGY & SOLUTION SERVICES
​Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Executive of Technology & Solutions Services to help us in our overall efforts to assist our company continue our exceptional growth. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of technologies and innovative solutions that are both internal and client-driven.
 
ISC is seeking a candidate to oversee and grow the Technology & Solution Services Division, which includes, but is not limited to: ISC's Odysseus Enterprise System and other technological solutions and products developed or in development by ISC.  The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience of managing all aspects of technology, including technical design, construction, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology solutions.

A strong focus of this position will be on the technical elements of systems development and business processes.  The ideal candidate will have an intellectual curiosity for technological solutions for the emergency management, public health, and public safety, and the ability to move innovations from conceptual design to implementation. Candidates with proven and/or advanced leadership, program management, and business development skills will be received favorably.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
​Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) is seeking a senior executive to oversee and grow the Technology & Solution Services Division of ISC by ensuring the success of existing proprietary technologies and innovative solutions; and to ensure the steady growth of the Technology & Solution Services Division. Candidate should have past experience managing similar business services and extensive knowledge of managing all aspects of technology, including technical design, construction, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology solutions.  Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Serve as a strategic partner and confidant to the ISC executive management team
  • Provide input to the strategic business plans, including the operating budget for the Technology & Solution Services Division
  • Recommends long term solutions that will drive operational efficiencies and profitability within the Division
  • Develops and maintains division-specific business plans in alignment with company strategy and objectives
  • Proactively builds and maintains business relationships across the industries served by ISC
  • Proactively oversees the business development and growth of the Technology & Solution Services Division.
  • Report regularly to the ISC executive management team on all aspects of performance and communicate plans to rectify any deficiencies and growth opportunities
  • Oversees project-specific financial and resource objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets and establishing cost controls; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions and filling resource gaps.
  • Determines the responsibilities of assigned staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the ISC team by overseeing all aspects of technology for the company, including technical design, construction, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology solutions; a strong focus on the technical elements of systems development.
  • Investigates new techniques, equipment, processing methods, technical requirements for hardware/software and evaluates these technologies for the company's business operations and markets served.
  • ​Directs and provides guidance, as necessary, to the directors and managers regarding attainment of company goals and objectives
  • Interfaces with the client, as needed, and resolves technology-specific issues or elevates issues when necessary
  • Train, supervise and fill in for directors and managers as necessary
  • Establish production and quality standards
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the ISC executive management team
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned
 
Has overall responsibility, with input from the ISC executive management team, for:
  • Technical design, construction, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology solutions
  • Supervises and directs business matters associated with the Technology & Innovation Services Division
  • Manages technology resources and business functions of the Technology & Innovation Services Division
  • Monitors system(s) performance, using knowledge of operating system(s), control language commands, job flow, configuration, etc.; makes reallocation of memory, storage, pool sizes, and execution of priorities to maximize output.
  • Keeps abreast of "Stare of the Art" hardware developments and investigates new techniques, equipment, processing methods, and technical requirements for hardware/software.
  • ​Identifies new innovative solutions and technologies for the markets served by the company and direct these ideas from conceptual design to implementation
  • Evaluates technology proposals and agreements and provides recommendations to management.
  • Oversee and direct technology staff and contractors in the development technologies and web-based solutions.
  • Affect positive change and continual progress in the areas of financial performance, revenue management and customer satisfaction
  • Assist the team in the development of proposals, marketing, client relations or other overhead business efforts
  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and client-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • ​Experience of 15 or more years. 
  • 5 – 10 years’ leadership experience
  • Must have expertise in managing all aspects of technology for the agency, including technical design, construction, and delivery of enterprise-wide technology solutions
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, coding, and software development.
  • Strong budgeting experience and financial management required
  • Effective written and oral communications skills
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Must be able to balance the duties and responsibilities of multiple tasks concurrently
  • Flexible style, able to immediately adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous experience in consultative organizations is a plus
  • Experience in marketing and business development is a plus
  • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach high-performance teams
  • Experience leading and implementing company-wide initiatives to improve quality, mitigate risk, and drive net operating income.
  • Analytic and decisive decision-maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals
  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
  • Creative problem solver with an intellectual curiosity for developing and implementing technological solutions
  • Detail-oriented

 The location of this position will vary based on client need. Current positions will be based out of St. Louis, MO and/or Chicago; however, relocation is not required.  Travel expectations will range between 30-50%. Salary is commensurate with experience.
