ISC ATTENDS 10TH ANNUAL JOINT COMMISSION EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

ISC dispatched a team to Lake Buena Vista, Florida in May to attend and participate at the 10th Annual Joint Commission Emergency Preparedness Conference.  This conference was attended by a variety of professionals from hospitals and healthcare organizations, all of whom have a responsibility for emergency preparedness and response.  The image below shows ISC’s John Rogan as he demonstrates our web-enabled Comprehensive Emergency Management Program (CEMP – http://i-s-consulting.com/odysseus) to a hospital representative from Baltimore.

ISC ATTENDS THE ILLINOIS EMERGENCY NURSES ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE IN LISLE, ILLINOIS

Representatives from Integrated Solutions Consulting exhibited at the Illinois Emergency Nurses Association conference in Lisle.  Attendees at this conference included nursing professionals from across many areas of the hospital setting.  This conference provided ISC the opportunity to demonstrate their Comprehensive Emergency Management Program (CEMP), as well as a Hazard Vulnerability Assessment module that is being developed.

ISC Supports the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Updating Dam Emergency Action Plans for the Apache, Navajo, and Flathead Tribes.

ISC is currently working with the Cooper Zietz Engineering team to update Dam Emergency Action Plans for a number of tribal communities across the Nation. In addition to updating the EAPs, ISC is assisting the BIA in the facilitation of Tabletop Exercises to validate the EAP for each of the dams.

The mission of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Safety of Dams Program is to protect, to the extent practicable, people who reside in or who otherwise occupy the flood plain downstream from Bureau of Indian Affairs dams from the risks posed by the dams.

ISC TO ATTEND 10TH ANNUAL JOINT COMMISSION EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS CONFERENCE

Integrated Solutions Consulting (ISC) will be traveling to Lake Buena Vista, Florida in May to exhibit at the Joint Commission’s 10th Annual Emergency Preparedness Conference.

At this conference, the ISC team will be exposed to breakthrough thinking that shatters outmoded beliefs and methodologies and embraces new concepts that work. From coalition-building to effectively managing requirements of The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Incident Management System (NIMS), and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS), attendees will be better prepared to reduce risk and respond to a crisis. During the plenary sessions, industry pros will discuss preparing for any disaster or threat and being fully compliant with 2014-15 regulations.
